Remember last year when this horrific thing happened to these 3 cats? ??
Their owners were talked OUT of using the humane alternatives & told by the AVMA/AAFP vet at an AAHA hospital that declawing was a standard & common procedure & their cats would be fine?
Well they lied.
The unethical vet, who had been doing declaws for decades, left the bandages on too long. This happens often since hey have to put them on so tight to stop the bleeding from the barbaric amputations.
All of these cats have had to have all their paws or some of them amputated. They have gone through the most unimaginable suffering. The vet's insurance company, Fireman's Fund, through the CVMA has paid over $90,000 for the surgeries that these poor kitties have had to go through. (Why are insurance companies even insuring these vets to mutilate cats?) PLEASE SIGN MY PETITIONS FOR AAHA & AAFP to NOT allow this barbaric and inhumane procedure to be performed at their "Standard of Excellence" or "Cat Friendly" practices!
