Had a #jalanjalan off the beaten path at the Kranji Marshes last Sunday. (But not too far off the path - I didn’t want to fall in!) The marshes offer nature lovers a holistic experience. It is home to a wide range of flora and fauna – 170 species of birds, 54 species of butterflies, and 33 species of dragonflies have been spotted there!
The freshwater marshland was carefully restored by @nparksbuzz and URA to protect the species living there. Out of the entire 57 hectare area, 8 hectares are open to the public. To see the rest, which is the core conservation area, join one of NParks’ guided walks. If you’re looking for something more rustic, why not pay a visit sometime? – LHL (Photo by me)
