Somehow submersing oneself in highway noise and committing to techy, foot-cramp inducing slab run outs whilst the wind howls along one of the busiest interstates in the country was the exact prescription in order to find some peace and drown out the overwhelming political news of the week.....Nonetheless the VRG is as good as they say. So cool to finally make it here after hearing about this historic place since I was a kid. I went straight for "Fall of Man" (13b) because I had read about it and everyone told me to do it and of course because @boonespeed is an American rock climbing hero. Very psyched to clip the chains after 40 or so minutes of forgetting every piece of beta I had learned and engaging in full solitary battle mode amidst the traffic and wind. And in case I'd forgotten I relearned that sport climbing is so damn fun when you let it be. ? @joe_segreti // @ザ・ノースフェイス
