Our home is not cluttered, nor is it starkly minimalist, instead it is filled with these storied pieces that reflect our life and the places we've been and who we've become. Learning to have a responsible relationship with objects has been an ongoing journey for me, from the ethics of consumption, to living with what I need, to my appreciation of beautiful things and desire to create lovely spaces. The lesson has been in merging these principles and standards together, and I am carrying these lessons with me into my design studio and the homes I am working on.
