For millennia, war and conflict, our tragic human weakness, foolishly mirrors our humanity today ~ Archaeologist remove soil where they discovered skeletal remains of a women and child with head trauma dating back more than 4000 years in northeast section of the Oylum Höyük site in Kilis, Turkey. Located less than 3 kilometers from the border with Syria, this part of Anatolia has, since the Middle Bronze Age (4000-5000 years), been the landscape of repeated war, occupation and mass migration.
