Ablutions ~ Bathed in lavender of dusk, a gentleman performs ablutions before saying evening prayers at the Kiliç Ali Paşa Camii mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. Built between 1580-1587, a few years ago, I spent a beautiful evening at this ablution fountain, welcomed by all when working on the Sacred Water story for National Geographic.
