Looking back at our #Bestof2016: Lord & Lady Attenborough’s celebrated private collection of Picasso ceramics brought a total of £3 million in #London this November. The couple built a collection that was truly unique for its time, beginning in 1954 with a souvenir ashtray purchased for just £3. Over the next 50 years they acquired many different examples of the ceramic editions. The auction was ‘white-glove’, 100% sold, and soared above its pre-sale estimate of £1.5 million. #Picasso
