On our first morning in the forest on Misool, we heard males calling and spotted them in the canopy. Didn’t get a chance to photograph them there, so sharing this shot from a previous trip in W. Papua where the same species occurs. Getting a shot like this requires at least a few days to locate the right tree where males are displaying, climbing and rigging a blind in the canopy and then returning in the early morning to shoot. @thephotosociety, @natgeocreative, #Indonesia, #RajaAmpat, #Misool, #IndonesiaBiodiversity, @Tim Laman.
