“There’s a lot of fog near where I live in upstate New York, but I wanted to find the foggiest place on earth,” the photographer @noahkalina writes in this week’s @nytmag. For a photographer, “fog evens everything out. The land and the sky become an even exposure.” @noahkalina, who is based in Lumberland, NY, traveled to Newfoundland to hunt for #fog. It wasn't difficult. In Canada, the cold Labrador Current and the warmth of the Gulf Stream come together to form the foggiest place in the world. “I found the fog, but I also found incredible isolation,” he writes. "This is a completely barren landscape. The fog matches the mood of this place.” @noahkalina took this photo of the town of Saint Bride’s from the Bird Island Resort.
