Found all kinds of #Autumn marvels today at the market, shopping for the #PersianAutumnDinner. I was looking for pomegranates and quinces (particularly hard to find), and LOTS of other stuff. Meanwhile I dreamt about a hearty polenta with these beauties, and I ended up having a tripe panino for lunch at the "Cucina Romanesca" kiosk!
I brought loads of stuff to the #LatteriaStudio (while a lovely course on natural cheese making with @theblacksheepschool was going on), and @alicekiandra.adams kindly helped me with all the necessary stuff.
Can't wait to get back to the kitchen tomorrow and revive the flavors I have grown up with! Wish my mom, my dad and my grandma could be here to have a taste, since unknowingly they have been my first, and probably the strongest cooking inspiration I have ever had, though I never cooked Iranian dishes back when I lived there.
