When I was 13, I had the honor of meeting Se Ri Pak in Chicago when the US Women's Open was held at the Merit Club. I was not seriously into playing the game yet, but I watched eagerly as she prepared for the tournament. I even had the privilege of having dinner with her. She took me under her wing that week and gave me a glimpse inside what it's like to be a touring pro. Fast forward 7 years and I qualified for the LPGA and even got paired with my idol! She nodded and said to me "it's great to see you again, you must have worked hard." I had to pinch myself to see if it was a dream.

Few people have had direct impact on my golf career, and I am so thankful to have shared those moments with Se Ri so many years ago. It's been an absolute pleasure to play alongside the one who ignited the spark in so many little girls around the world, including me. Thank you Se Ri Pak!
