a cup of afternoon tea, a simple little ritual but a harbinger of joy. I often find myself making a cup of spicy chai or cinnamon tea but what ever the blend, it is nearly always an herbal. They are on rotation in my kitchen dependent upon the season, weather or simply mood. But this weekend @bellocq the discovery of the soothing Ashram Afternoon - with high notes of sweet mint against an earthy background - it's was like sipping in calmness - I couldn't help but think perhaps I hadn't realized the magic of tea until that very moment - and back in my little city cottage kitchen, a pot sits warming and I'm eagerly awaiting a cup of afternoon tea
