the last few breaths of yesterday's light - caught up in the summer sheets- entwined with shadow and pattern - I couldn't stop watching it and followed the light room to room in this old house, (which knows me better than I know myself, pieces of my heart left here each summer along side the beach treasures neatly aligning spare beams & windowsills)
And this morning encircled in a warm costal quiet we watch rain fall and listen to the sea birds call out to one another
