Tomorrow's highly anticipated presidential debate will be hosted at Hofstra University. NBC News approached several first-time student voters on campus about their thoughts on the candidates.
.
McKenzie Smith is a junior at Hofstra University majoring in journalism and plans to vote for Hillary Clinton.
.
"I’m supporting @ヒラリー・クリントン because I was initially a Bernie Sanders supporter and he endorsed her and I just think the most responsible thing to do is kind of roll with his endorsement.
.
"I do like that she has experience especially when it comes to foreign policy, specifically because #DonaldTrump could kind of work on that a little bit himself. I do like her policies on women’s issues and women’s rights as well as the rights of minorities. I know a lot of millennials feel like they’re voting for the lesser of two evils, but I really do believe that they’re at complete opposite ends of the spectrum.
.
"The stakes are definitely our image in the eyes of the rest of the world, the rights of a lot of citizens of the United States, and just the way the country is running, basically."
