At 9:03am on Sept. 11, 2001, David Handschuh was photographing under the south tower of the #WorldTradeCenter when the second plane hit the building.

"Instinctively, I brought a camera up to my eye. A voice in the back of my head said: run."

He was swept up in the debris of the collapsing tower, landing half a block away, trapped under wreckage with his leg shattered, but still holding his two cameras.

Handschuh has identified every rescuer that helped him that day. Except for one.
