Tomorrow's highly anticipated presidential debate will be hosted at Hofstra University. NBC News approached several first-time student voters on campus about their thoughts on the candidates: Alexi Cohan
Junior at @HofstraU, majoring in journalism and Spanish. Supports Hillary Clinton. "As a first-time voter, I’m really disappointed actually in this election. I have been looking forward to voting for president for a really long time. Now to see that I have to choose between these two candidates who are extremely negatively viewed in our society is just disappointing. However, I am still looking forward to casting my vote. I would be extremely proud and excited to see a woman in office. The fact that it’s Hillary kind of dampens that excitement a little bit, but I still think it’s a great step for our nation to go, especially from having our first black president to the first woman president. I think it opens up the doors to maybe have [a] Latino president or a gay president or an Asian president, who knows." -@lexandthecity14 ? by @benlowy #politics #debates #opinion #election2016 #decision2016 #hofdebate16
