April Palmieri (@april18nyc) came in for a spin while dancing with Arturo Perez one night in July at the @bklynlibrary’s “Plaza Swing Series.” @april18nyc attended the party with her husband, @tederian, who she met in dance school and married. They’ve been dancing ever since, she told @andrea_mohin, a staff photographer for @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. @andrea_mohin, a dancer herself, photographs the world of dance for @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. She’s used to spending her time indoors, in theaters, with a long lens focused on one storied stage or another. But over the past 6 weeks, inspired by the sunshine and New Yorkers, @andrea_mohin has been photographing dancers on more casual stages: beaches, piers and pavements.
