Have been testing the @TamronUSA 24-70mm f2.8 image stabilizing lens. Because of loosing my other 24-70 in the deserts of Kazakhstan a few months ago when working on a @ナショナルジオグラフィック story, I was eager to see what this lens could do. I chose to take it into complex, very low lighting situations with my 5D Mark III. The lenses’ sharpness and inherent contrast brought out details one can rarely see even with the naked eye.

So impressed, I will be taking this lens with me to Uzbekistan next week where I'll be pushing its limits in extreme desert temperatures–eager for its performance on image stabilization for video and more.
