The year Kristen Stewart turned 22, she should have felt triumphant. “Breaking Dawn” and “Snow White and the Huntsman” both topped the box office, and Kristen became Hollywood’s highest-paid actress, according to @forbes. But that July, she was photographed kissing Rupert Sanders, the married director of “Snow White” — a shock to fans invested in her 4-year relationship with her @twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson. Tabloid hysteria ensued, and the normally reclusive #KristenStewart caved to media pressure, releasing an emotionally naked apology. But today, everything about Kristen, now 26, is a striking departure from the often miserable face the world saw just a few years ago. The attention that comes with fame, while still occasionally frenetic, “is no longer negative or fear-based,” she said. “I do think that’s because of the storms I have weathered. It’s not that they make you stronger or calloused — but they do make you a human.” @karimsadli took this portrait of Kristen Stewart, styled by @marieameliesauve, for the cover of @tmagazine’s women’s fashion issue.
