I've always hated feeling like I was being backed into a corner.
I end up panicking, making promises I can't keep to meet demands that I never agreed with in the first place.
If you feel strongly about something, even if it's the complete opposite of everyone in the room, vocalize it.
That moment of uncomfortable or even painful truth is far more constructive to everyone involved than the agony of keeping your true feelings inside.
