Happy Monday my darlings. What a beautiful start to the week it is! A wise person once said "at first they will ask what you're doing, later they will ask how you did it" and these words are incredibly true to life. I remember just a couple of years ago when people would look down their noses at me -and they probably still do but I don't mind- raise their eyebrows, tut and make cruel remarks: "Who do you think you are?" "Nobody has even heard of you!" "You're not even pretty!" But do you know what? Now they're asking me out to dinner, now they comment nice things on everything I do to get noticed and now for some absurd reason they pretend that they find me 'pretty' but I just think I'm me, the same girl I've always been and no amount of negativity will ever change that. I'm grateful for life, grateful for my health and grateful for my two incredible children. The beauty of life is that it's incredible even when people aren't, for every person who treats you bad there are 1,000 amazing experiences and moments to follow that will put the biggest smile on your face so hold on and don't give up. I don't judge people on their bank balance, fame or following because to me we are all human. I've sat with actors, models, politicians, children and the homeless and had equally worthwhile, cheerful and genuine conversations with each. Life is what you make it, so why not make it positively beautiful my darlings.
