#MandelaDay, beginning week 4, O.G. - (pic from last week and today) alongside director @madeleine217 (and, among others, 'Warriors' David Patrick Kelly - can you find him?) working with Pendleton C.O.'s. - tough jobs they have but also invaluable insight on incarceration in America. They've come together with us and with offenders they guard to tell this story - creative collaboration among unlikely partners. Ofc Strozier (bottom image) works in one of Pendleton's most difficult units, the mental health unit. She said today that her commitment at the prison is toward helping the men she guards become better citizens by the time they get out.
