Starting off a summer trip across close to 10 national parks amongst others in line with the national park service's centennial, we kicked off the trip with a stop off at #ValleyOfFireStatePark in #Nevada. With temperatures hitting close to 110° we wandered through the #WhiteDomes trail to find this #SlotCanyon that provided some much needed shade! The park is Nevada's oldest state park and covers over 40,000 acres. It's a beautiful park worth visiting and exploring and a good start to our long journey ahead.
