Trey update: I went to visit him today. He's still healing nicely and walking but doc had to address another abscess that formed. He put another drain tube in place to be able to flush it out as needed. Due to the culture showing positive for a bacteria that is resistant to most antibiotics, he will be kept in Dr. Simon's care and put on a special antibiotic to try to kill the bacteria/infection.
If all goes well he should be able to come back to us mid-end of next week. ?
This little guy has been through so much and is such a fighter. I got some kitty kisses and purrs today.
He's in the best hands, literally, even going home at night with Dr. Simon for continuous monitoring so I think it's safe to say each update will just get better and better!
