I wanted to take a minute this morning to thank all of you for your support, encouragement, & kind comments on my last post. If you didn’t see it, it’s as much as I could fit in the song length I was able to use. There’s more to the last 17 mos & after in fact, just 2 days after posting that, I went through another major downfall but fought through it. I’ve been through a lot of unexpected nasty life changes starting w/ an unexpected separation in Feb ‘22 leading to a divorce later that year. It’s been hard! Even when I thought I was doing ok, I wasn’t and the ripple effects & mental rollercoaster those brought on as well as financial issues being a single Mom and even trying the dating scene to try to find some happiness in that area (so far removed from that now & focusing on healing instead) have been horrible!
I’m continuing to work on myself & my kids (25, 18, & 15) which is why my presence online has been scarce.
Things are beginning to turn around. I have some life changes in the works that should bring better balance to my life (one is a career move going full time back to the industry I was in before Venus became famous). I have been living in a state of so many emotional ups & downs, frustration, fatigue, depression, even financially, that it has been hard to get in creator mode. This career move will bring balance & structure to a lot of that which I think will bring back my creative vibe, inspiring me to post more regularly & have fun w/ this again. You all have been w/ us for 11 yrs now and I don’t want to disappoint. So please continue to be patient w/ me as I navigate through another change/chapter. As I get better, my accounts will become more active & engaged like the earlier days.
So thanks again and please know if you’re struggling, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! This is why I get personal here. Too many suffer silently and think big accounts have it made. I’d rather break the stigma and share my struggles openly as the human behind this account. You never know who your story may help!
