Hot days call for cold treats. After soaking up some sun at the pool, blend up this refreshing dessert from Fresh Forward for yourself and your family. Bet you didn’t know your blender could double as an ice cream maker, did ya?
MANGO PEACH SORBET
4 cups frozen mango + peaches
1 cup orange juice
Pure maple syrup, to sweeten (optional)
Place frozen fruit and orange juice in blender. Follow manufacturer’s directions for blending, or use pre-programmed blender function. Stop and scrape down sides as needed, or add a little extra liquid if blender is having trouble. Taste, and if needed, add a little pure maple syrup to sweeten.
Serve immediately for soft serve sorbet, or for scoopable sorbet, transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm enough to scoop. Store leftovers in freezer.
