Our public exhibition of Fine Books & Manuscripts opened today on the 10th floor of our #NYC headquarters. A first edition of Beatrix Potter’s ‘The Tailor of Gloucester’, a children’s favorite and a favorite of the author’s, is inscribed on the front endpaper: “For Mr Butler from Beatrix Potter, Jan 16th 03”. Galleries open through the weekend, with the sale on Tuesday June 14th. #SothebysBooks
