Wall sits!
Superset your heavy lifting with a body weight wall sit and add resistance as you progress.
Before you sit, a few pointers:
- feet should be hip width apart
- focus your weight in your heels, NOT in the toes!
- lower back should be as flush to the wall as possible. Tuck the pelvis in and DONT arch the back!
- BREATH!
- arms up over your head or straight out in front. Don't support your weight with your upper body, let your legs do the work!
- work on time progressions as well as weight progressions. Try to hold each weight for at least a minute!
