Aww my son is still feeling poorly, he has a horrible cough and a high temperature that hasn't shook for days. I wish I could take away his pain and discomfort and keep him wrapped up safe in my arms forever. It's horrible seeing those you love feeling bad and for some reason my maternal instinct doesn't end with my own children, I feel such a strong sense of love for the world to make it a happier, healthier place and help those in need. With your kind support I have raised £10,000 for ten incredible charities and I'm now ready to complete my final 3 handovers which will be £1,000 to an anti bullying charity called Bullies Out, £1,000 to the British Heart Foundation and £1,000 to a very special charity that I'm going to be surprising very soon and can't say too much but I will share it all with you accordingly. I have not taken a penny from my fundraising and if anything I'm out of pocket for travelling to and from the charities and events to raise the money. I've also given a lot of my time to fundraise and deliver the donations, personally emailing every donor, transferring funds and noting records, visiting each charity to write features on their valuable work and speak to the staff as well as creating and editing videos to raise awareness of their role and hopefully encourage future donors. I help people because it warms my heart and the love that I have as a single parent grows all the more when I turn it out to the rest of the world.
