Dusting off my summer body, few pounds still to shed and some abs to excavate and I'll be happy! I've had such a crazy year from family and commitments to poor health and illness. Just a year ago I was smashing my workouts and feeling on top of the world and then at one point even walking up the stairs had me panting for breath and I couldn't stop fainting. I went from strong to soft in the blink of an eye but thankfully I am now medicated for anaemia and my cervical cells have been removed so I am well on my road to recovery. It's been amazing getting back to the gym but my muscles kill like you wouldn't believe, I remind myself that each step I take and each weight I lift is one closer to achieving my goals. The body is an incredible machine, we must treat it with love, respect and appreciation and take the good times along with the bad because what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
