Three Days of Water, photograph by @alisonwrightphoto [9 of 10] I took this photo in Macomba, Sierra Leone while on assignment in Africa for an international non-profit that focuses on alleviating poverty through the empowerment of skills training and micro-lending, especially for women in developing countries. In this particular project, the organization had donated seeds and watering cans for women to work in kitchen gardens to grow vegetables for their families and sell in the local market.
