because I have always loved flowers, I never cease to be inspired by their textures depth range of color individuality or their ability to brighten our world - I worked for a time as a florist and it made such a huge impact on the way I think about composition and color - through flowers I began to understand how simplicity and subtlety can be so impactful - I happened upon this casual bucket of loveliness in a little back corner of Bologna earlier in the year - faces to the sun
