a morning of plans & work - interrupted where they lay - though I have recently found myself craving a more stable schedule - try as I might it does not seem to work out that way - and so those days breakfast becomes lunch and afternoons bleed into a lamp-lit evening - but I am happy for small delights like these heavenly apple yoghurt crostini - a swirl of olive oil through the yogurt give a wonderful richness and thyme fills the kitchen with its heady scent while these bake for just a few minutes in a hot oven - I drizzle them with honey from our fields , a crack of fresh black pepper & crunchy toasted almonds - these little delights are fast becoming a favorite - homey and warm but only a few minutes to make with little cleanup!
