Angus McBean's remarkable Christmas card from 1948 features half of his face skilfully superimposed onto that of a classical bust. McBean could not bear to return the #sculpture, purchasing it for the princely sum of £50 - the same bust sold last year at Sotheby's for a breath-taking £3.13 million. The #photograph will be offered in next month's #MadeinBritain sale in #London. #AngusMcBean
