Sheep returning to Zovasar, a small village in the mountains of Aragatsotn Province, Armenia.

Continuing my adoration with Armenia, there was this lovely moment one late afternoon from the enchanting village of Zovasar -- in just over a month, I will be hosting a workshop in partnership with @4.Plus.

My friend and colleague, @AnushBabajanyan ~ follow Anush Babajanyan here on IG for beautiful visual poems of Armenia, the Caucasus and beyond ~ spent many days in this village, welcomed by all, feeling b as if home. We were working together on a story that will come out in the April 2016 edition of National Geographic magazine.

What I love of about Zovasar was its place in time. Not lost nor frozen in any period. The time based on essence, as it always has been. Always will be. It is why I chose to use the #Hipstamatic camera, allowing one foot in the present, another firm foot in the past. Wrapped in the unknown beauty of what will be.

For those who did not sign up in time for the March 2016 Storytelling workshop in Armenia (it filled weeks ago), there are plans already in motion to host another Storytelling/Social Media workshop this June or July in Tbilisi, Georgia.
