Guess what. I feel I'm getting closer to being in the clear from this scary and disabling vestibular disease that happened on Christmas day. Along with the loss of my job right before this crazy illness, it's been very challenging for us, but we are trying to make lemonade out of lemons. We believe in just trying to get through the bad things in life and not let them get you down too much, and use them to do better and make better things happen. That's what my mom and I are trying to do now.
We have some exciting things we are working on and can't wait to share them with you.
We've received so many amazing notes from everyone, including apologies from many of the naysayers. The strength and love we feel from these notes is truly tangible.
Thank you for all your positive, inspiring, and uplifting words with well wishes, prayers, and suggestions. We may not be able to answer all of them but rest assured they will all be read.
And to those "unfollow" folks who really never left, it's ok, we accept your heartfelt apologies and know that none of us are purrfect. Ironically, the posts I made that were inspired by your hurtful comments helped to save more kitties from having their toes amputated from the awareness to over 150,000 people. So win win for the kitties! After all , that's what it's all about.
So stay tuned and I will show you my latest accomplishment. I RAN a teeny bit today and didn't fall over! It made me feel so happy to know that my strength is really coming back and I am going to be ok.
