J.J. Abrams is directing Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He recalls first seeing Star Wars at the Avco Center theater in Los Angeles, Calif. at age 11. “It was a confluence of greatness, all these levels of things working spectacularly together,” he says. “And it had incredible heart. There was a sweetness to the story that gave the film this palpable sense of hope.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's the kind of impression he hopes his new fillm will make, which, if the box office is any indication, most certainly will.
