When I'm photographing in a foreign country, my access is usually at least partially dependent on my counterpart's willingness to help me out. In this case, President Poroshenko's photographer walked me onto the floor of the Rada, Ukraine's Parliament, and took me down in front, where I could make this photograph of Vice President Joe Biden walking out to the podium to deliver his speech. I've really enjoyed bringing you into our trip these past couple days. It's an honor to be able to document the White House and the Vice Presidency. See you out there! -DL
