We're wheels down in Kyiv, Ukraine -- and you're catching a glimpse of what it's like to be in an overseas motorcade. The Vice President was greeted on the tarmac by the Ukrainian and American ambassadors, Mayor Klychko of Kyiv, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Three Ukrainian women presented the Vice President with bread and salt, traditional symbols of hospitality and welcome. The first time I visited this city in 2009, I remember being struck by the Orthodox Onion dome churches, brightly colored and different than anything I'd seen before.
