Having made a few sneak visits to the @nationalgallerysingapore this past year, I am delighted that it is now officially opened!

Our two National Monuments, the old Supreme Court and City Hall, have been elegantly restored, modernised and merged to form the new-old Gallery. Now these historic spaces have a new life and purpose - to house our national collection of art.

I hope the Gallery will be shaped by our people, who will visit it, enjoy what it offers, and in time come to love it.
