We are delighted to announce that the 10 December @rmsothebys Driven To Disruption auction in #NewYork will feature a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL ‘Sportabteilung’ Gullwing - the rarest and most desirable W198 Gullwing ever presented for public auction and one of just four W198 Gullwings prepared by the Sportabteilung for development and competition. Racing highlights include second overall at the 1956 Tour de France when the car was driven by Sir Stirling Moss. The 300 SL will be on view in our New York Headquarters from 5 December.
