Following the election of a moderate president and the signing of the nuclear agreement, #Iranians are taking to the streets — this time not to challenge the government but to reclaim public spaces. The state has insisted for decades that people adhere to the strict laws on appearance and behavior in public spaces. But lately, university students have started wearing bright colors, fashion shows have popped up and cafes have organized stand-up comedy evenings.
