Recipe for a purple blob. A compact, intense low moves off the east coast of New Zealand late last week, as a larger low tracked east to its south. Over the last several days the low to the south tracked northeast, merging with the compact low. The end result is satellite recorded sea heights in the 25-30’ range just over 1000 miles away from Tahiti. That sets up a solid SSW swell for the end of the week, with Easterly trades poised to deliver mighty fine conditions. @sperrysurfline #SurflineForecast #Tahiti
