A smack of moon jellyfish glows neon green in a inlet along Canada's Great Bear Rainforest coast. The actual color of the jellyfish is a pale white but days of torrential rain has flooded many streams that deposit tannin rich discolored river water into the ocean. This 3 foot deep freshwater lens sits on top of the heavier saltwater and creates a filter making these jellyfish appear a shade of "radioactive" green. @thephotosociety @natgeocreative @saveourseasfoundation @pacificwild
