The walk to 'crampon point' is full of excitement. Loose rock on top of glacier means things are always shifting and changing. I choose to wear my helmet after watching several rocks come unhinged from above during our first time up there. We've spent the last two days shuttling our gear up to get ready for our acclimatization rotations.
