“I had shot #ImagineDragons once before in Phoenix and was looking forward to shooting them again. When we got down into the pit, it was filled with more barricade stems and wires than usual, so I knew I’d have to be extra careful. The movement of cameramen, techs, photographers and concert winners taking photos was frantic, but I found a sweet spot in the chaos, waited for the right light and captured this shot of the crowd and #DanReynolds. As I was looking down at my camera to make sure the photo looked the way I wanted it to, I stepped back and stumbled over a video cable and fell right into the barricade. Even though I caught myself and was incredibly embarrassed, their fans tried to catch me and couldn’t have been any nicer.” As told to @Rolling Stone by photographer @MariaVassett
