Located at the end of a short footpath, Limu Pools is probably my favorite place to snorkel and swim on the remote and beautiful South Pacific island of Niue. A series of natural pools protected from the big Pacific Ocean, the best way to get into the pools is by jumping off big rocks at the edge of them. Humans aren't the only ones that find these calm, warm, and clear waters amazing....the pools are home to a crazy number of fish and invertebrates. I saw so many sea snakes while snorkeling there! Crazy experience to swim right next to those creatures. And even though it is one of the more popular places on Niue, because Niue is not a huge tourist destination there is hardly ever anyone there!
