"Beginning some time this afternoon, travelers passing through Grand Central Terminal will be able to set their watches and make their trains with the help of the old familiar golden clock," @ニューヨーク・タイムズ reported on the front page in March 1954. A few weeks earlier, the four-faced timekeeper had been sent away for repairs in Brooklyn for the first time in 41 years.
