Meru, the Garwhal Himal.
The central peak is defined by a blade of granite. It's curvature like a flame curving upwards from the depths of earth. This primal resonance drew pilgrims and seekers. This elemental beauty did not escape climbers. We were drawn by it's purity of line and inaccessibility.
