Welcoming President @Barack Obama in Addis Ababa, #Ethiopia, where he and Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn took part in a news conference earlier today. As #Obama began his trip, which human rights groups say legitimizes an oppressive government, he urged Ethiopia’s leaders to curb crackdowns on press freedom and political openness. "When all voices are being heard, when people know they are being included in the political process, that makes a country more successful," he said.
